- nikiblack: Q: Legal tweeps-does Twitter's required brevity make for better writing? See: http://tinyurl.com/8yubas I say-yes. You?
- advocatesstudio: @nikiblack Answered. Yes. Writers should engage more frequently in exercises that encourage brevity.
- nicolecaccamo: @nikiblack absolutely yes, especially if you avoid abbreviations! Forces us loquacious individuals to be more succinct.
- GKetch: @nikiblack @legaltweets: No. Legal writing needs to be clear. Sometimes this = brevity. Not always.
- paul177: @nikiblack I think it does help in some ways. Makes you more direct...
- lancegodard: @nikiblack I say no: Twitter's imposed economy of the word has clear advantages but writing not necessarily better (can b incomprehensible)
- hsleviant: @LegalTweets Between my blog and yours, I'm roughly breaking even in the debate: http://tinyurl.com/azcspr Good discussion.

Obviously, I say, "No." But regardless of my opinion, the positive nature of this discussion, both for and against, has been a pleasant surprise. I still commend the law students that provided the premise to which I reacted on my blog, The Complex Litigator. I appreciate everyone's thoughts.
Best regards,
